I never planned to grow tea.
It started with a few herbs—mint and lemon balm mostly—just enough for a fresh cup in the evenings. But like most good things, it grew. Peppermint spread like wildfire. Chamomile volunteered itself. Calendula showed up uninvited and was too beautiful to remove.
Now, every year the garden gives me everything I need for a dozen blends. Guests often ask what makes it taste so different from store-bought. The truth is—it’s the same as anything in life. When you put your hands in the soil, when you grow something from seed, when you dry it in the sun and brew it with intention… it tastes like a memory. Like something real.
The tea is always available in the little Tea Room, 24 hours a day. If you’re curious, try a cup. No two are ever the same.
